Does not give you local weather.

It wouldnt even load the content when I tried to pull up the app. It just continued to say "loading."

I live in Miami. We have great beaches, cool clubs and hurricanes. I am always checking the NOAA advisories and graphics. This app gives me all the info i need at once. I love NOAA and its app.

If time matters and you need to know about severe weather in your specific area then forget this app. Completely useless

I live in SW Florida and use this app every day during hurricane season. Consistently reliable and accurate. Recently had a question for the developer and received a reply w/in just a few hours.

I cant see/find a menu to add zip codes for local weather.

Better off going to the web site

Theres some nice stuff on this app. I use it often. Two suggestions: Id like to have the ability to stop the satellite animation and step through it. Also, having visible satellite imagery, too, would be awesome. Thanks for this nice app.

The best way to get NOAAs weather. Love the animated satellite views.

I was hoping for so much more from NOAA. Maybe there was a lack of funding for the app. Its nearly useless - limited geographic views, cant zoom into local views, doesnt even provide a forecast. The NOAA app cant hold a light to Weather Underground. Im deleting the app now. Ill keep using Weather Underground, that is an awesome, highly customizable app that can be as technical or as simplistic as you need it. And it has, wait for it...a forecast!

This official app from NOAA has been upgraded in functionality and graphics from previous years. Because the alerts are in official "NOAA" speak, many users will not like them, but for those who want the info straight up from the forecasters, it is very useful.

Does not show Alaska cloud cover

Really? Just want to check for hurricanes, did you have to put ads all in this app too? Instead of saying you were making fixes to the app just say you are adding annoying ads and be honest

Didnt know you were broke. The ads are awful.

Worked fine yesterday and before that. Today the menu comes up (after getting rid of those annoying ads), but all of the menu items bring up a blank page. There seems to be no content. This is both on my iphone and my iPad. Just gonna delete it and find something else.

Annoying adds, loss of some function. Deleted.

Used to be a great app but now when I pull up the weather outlook for either ovens I get no map, only text. Would probably be 4 stars if it was fixed

Updated to current level and not the app will not load

Unless I am missing something, this app is really only good for viewing worldwide storms and radar, and is not intended for getting a local NOAA weather forecast. Maybe it is intended for the Storm-chaser crowd? The Marine section just shows current sea state not the forecast. Better to simply put a link to the NOAA forecasts you like in your browser. I do that for my local zip code and also for nearby near shore marine forecast. On the good side, the NOAA radar in this app seems to load quicker than the radar with other free weather apps. I may try that next summer to see if it provides adequate zoom in data to see if a storm is heading our way at the beach.

The information in this app is really useful if you just want to see satellite images of the weather. It allows you to make an educated guess as to the upcoming weather. Its actually really great. BUT the problem with this version is the horrible ads and the fact that the app resets itself every time you switch away from it. Just do yourself a favor and look at the related apps from this developer and get the $.99 "Pro" version, which is identical but doesnt have the ads.
