DO NOT download!
I downloaded this app for my iPhone 6 to find out more about the Aurora borealis that’s supposed to be visible across most of the U. S. tonight — and what a nightmare that turned out to be. The app took me to a webpage in Safari where I was asked for my ZIP Code for accurate weather notifications. I was then asked if I would like to receive weather notifications, to which I agreed (big mistake!). The app then added an email account under Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, with which I was not familiar, and which was mostly spam -- and this new e-mail account became the primary server with no way to delete it. I was sure this malware or worse, and that my sensitive info was being hacked. It took a long phone call to Apple techs and two clean install attempts from iTunes before I was able to get rid of that mystery email/server account. Stay away!
